What We Do
With just 2 sessions a week, we can change your body. How you feel and how you move.
In each hour you are with us we want to transport you from your normal day to day activities into a moment just focused on you and your body. When the door closes to the studio it is your time to escape for an hour. With like minded people who may not love exercise but know they need it to do something good for their mind and body. We give you a workout and build a friendship so we can understand your needs. We know how you feel because we ask and listen, like how sore your back gets lifting the grandkids, to how your neck feels stiff looking at the computer screen all day or how your trying to improve your golf and need to loosen up.
You tell us what you want to achieve and we do all the thinking for you, we design the workout based on you and how you feel that day. We make classes fun so that you forget you are even there to workout. The classes are small with only 3 people per class, we want to get to know you, help you and bring the best out of your body.
I could tell you about the befits of Pilates and why you should be doing it but that is already well known. I want to tell you what we can do for you as an individual. Basically we listen to what you want and need and deliver on that.
If exercising is not your most favourite thing and you usually dread going for a workout. We are the place for you, we make exercise fun more liking hanging out with friends and you happen to be moving.
Keep moving, gain strength and surprise yourself with how much you change and improve.
What does Panacea mean?
Panacea is the Greek goddess of universal remedy, she was said to have a poultice that she used to heal the sick. A panacea in medicine is a substance that is meant to cure all diseases. This is what the studio is about providing health and healing to all our clients.
We are all online for booking and payments.
Studio Owner and Director
My love of helping people with their health came from my own experiences, plenty of injuries and my own health issues made me want to learn a different approach to healing and moving. The success and changes I saw in my self lead to many years of study and desire to share that with other people. I want to help end the one size fits all mentality and having individual programs for each person is what I believe in and bring that to every class I teach or consult I have.
I love getting to know people and what I can do to help. Each individual that comes in moves differently and has different story to tell and that is what I want to get to know and use that to give them the best experience possible.

I have never done Pilates before and Catherine took the time to personally assess me and develop a personalised program to help with the rehabilitation of my knee! She caters for all needs and experience levels and has empowered and educated me on the importance of strengthening the right muscles correctly to avoid injury.
That facilities are state of the art and the atmosphere is warming.
Love the pilates sessions with Catherine. She takes you through a tailored session every time so you can focus on what's important to you and it keeps it fresh!
I have long aspired for that lean, athletic look and I have been amazed how just one class per week has helped me to get close to this. Toned arms/shoulders and legs, defined abs and general suppleness. Having suffered a lot of lower back pain in the past, I have virtually been pain free since I started Pilates at Panacea.
